What is the Sorette Seal of Approval?

The Sorette Seal of Approval is a trademark licensing program that follows our vetting process to ensure products meet our strict standards - focused on the motherhood journey. Grounded in science and backed by expert research, our Seal gives brands credibility and moms peace of mind. When they see the Sorette Seal, they know the products have been carefully evaluated for this pivotal life stage.

With an overwhelming number of products on the market, moms can find it difficult to identify what they can use during their motherhood journey - from preconception, pregnancy, and postpartum. The Sorette Seal of Approval simplifies this decision-making process, ensuring moms can confidently choose the best products for every stage of their motherhood journey.

How long does it take to become Sorette Approved?

For Personal Care Products: Brands will submit their product formulation to our platform partner, Novi Connect, where it will be screened against Sorette's proprietary No-Go List. This process typically takes 2-4 weeks, but the timeline largely depends on how quickly the brand provides the required information. Once the screening is complete, Sorette will review the results and may request additional documentation to verify compliance with our standards. At the end of this review, we will notify you whether your product is approved, requires further clarification, or is ineligible for licensing.

For Non-Personal Care Products (Hard Goods): Brands will submit their product materials list and relevant safety data for review. Sorette will assess the product based on our standards, and we may request additional information as needed. The timeline for this process can vary based on product complexity and submission speed.

Ingestible Products: Vetting for ingestible products is coming soon.

How much does it cost to become Sorette Approved?

The first 5 SKUs that are onboarded are free. After that, there is a $100 onboarding fee per additional SKU. Once your products are approved, you can choose from three different tiers, each offering a range of licensing and marketing opportunities, including a listing on Sorette.
