Why Does Sorette Have an Advisory Board?

The Advisory Board exists to ensure those standards are informed by current scientific understanding, aligned with global regulatory thinking, and applied consistently across every product review. Research is always evolving, and the Board helps ensure Sorette's standards are updated with care as new evidence emerges.

What Does the Advisory Board Actually Do?

Board members support standards development by offering input on how Sorette defines and updates its criteria. By reviewing emerging research related to ingredients and exposure, they help shape the principles behind the Sorette No-Go List™. Their expertise spans reproductive medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, nutrition, epidemiology, and maternal mental health — covering the full spectrum of what matters most to families during pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood. Many board members are also moms, so they understand first-hand what questions parents actually ask.

Sorette's Scientific Advisory Board brings together a diverse group of specialists across reproductive medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, nutrition, epidemiology, and maternal mental health — including Elizabeth Baron, Nan Du MD, Dr. Shieva Ghofrany, Jillian Greaves, Dr. Carmen Messerlian, Dr. Heather D.
